This was a limited release from Brooks earlier this year. Full disclosure - they were given for free to the first people who gave Brooks access to their Strava and agreed to provide feedback. This was Brooks first-ever 3D printed midsole, which allows for a unique look and feel. The look is honestly pretty sweet in person - must have been the Hyperion 2 design team and not the ghost/glycerin team (jk, no offense and my first run shoe was Glycerin 20).

My personal running experience in the shoe was only a 5/10 but they may require a break in period - this midsole material is uncharted territory. What is awesome is the sock like upper that you can slip on but provides a very secure fit on the run. I took the shoes on a progression run ranging from 8:30 to 6:30 and found it amenable across the range. It is fairly firm, decently high stack (maybe 36-39mm in the back), gradually rockered, and while not a stability shoe, it felt very stable to me. I didn’t get a special springy feeling nor a plush sink-in feeling. You will like this if you are an early adopter of technology, a collector of eccentricities, or want a sweet looking walking shoe that gets comments at a marathon expo. And if you’re lucky you may like it for running too.

Can entertain different prices and very open to a trade. Maybe SB2, Mag Max, Deviate Nitro 3, open to other ideas.
