The Adidas Takumi Sen 10 is a 5k/10k racing shoe that uses Adidas' top racing foam. Lower and lighter than marathon racing shoes, it has a nimble, direct feel and is great for courses where you need extra grip or control. This version has a wider base and tweaked foam formulation from the previous two iterations, which makes the ride a touch less exciting. While it's no longer an all-time favorite for us like the Takumi Sen 8, it's a solid option if you don't want 40mm of stack in the heel of your racing shoe. For most runners, we'd recommend just getting the real-deal marathon racing shoe and using that for any distance. For fast speed in a lightweight package, we recommend the Hoka Mach X2. For a streamlined feel similar to the Adidas Takumi Sen 8, check out the Saucony Endorphin Elite.
