The Hoka Skyflow is a cushioned everyday running shoe with a supportive, bouncy and smooth ride. Compared to other shoes in its category, it has a firmer, more structured feel underfoot, which makes it a great option for longer runs and runners who prefer more stability. We found the shoe to require a short break-in period of 10 to 20 miles before the foam opened up and got a livelier character, and we also found the foam to perform better with time throughout each runs. This is a shoe that rewards patience, which makes it an excellent option for logging high-mileage in comfort and ease. Runners seeking a softer feel should consider the New Balance 1080v14.
