The New Balance Fresh Foam X 860v14 is a stability shoe that rides like a regular max cushioned cruiser. While it's not the softest shoe in the New Balance lineup (that would be our friend the 1080, also a fantastic choice), it provides the same enjoyable ride in a more stable and structured package. And unlike some stability shoes we've tested, the guidance and support isn't overly restrictive in the heel area.
